DAVID ECKARD

Pacific Northwest College of Art

Associate Professor in Sculpture, Foundation, Intermedia, BFA Thesis; Lead Faculty in Sculpture

My practice as a visual artist includes fabricated objects, video, drawings and prints, installations and performance.

Through these varied approaches, I fabricate fictive artifacts, render biomorphic, sexualized schematics and orchestrate transient theatrics for incidental audiences in civic spaces.

Futility, authority, theatricality and persona enter into my creative explorations as notions to investigate, critique, utilize and exploit.
