Daniel Meyers, AIA is a Creative Director, Experience Designer, and Architect working at the unexplored edges of his profession. He is a passionate 21st century placemaker, intent on interweaving cultural and physical contexts to create places of lasting symbolic significance and deep utility, for people. Daniel’s history includes focused architectural practice, and Creative Direction for category leading agencies in the emerging post-digital world; he has helped the industry redefine the relationship between digital and physical practices. Daniel has lead interdisciplinary teams to create groundbreaking projects for leading commercial, cultural, and private clients across the world. He teaches and lectures on architecture and experience design in North America and Europe, and has published widely on topics related to his practice. Before becoming an architect he trained as a guitarmaker, and served in the Navy. Daniel is a Registered Architect in the state of Oregon, and an Architect Member of the American Institute of Architects. Daniel holds an M.Arch from the School of Architecture and Allied Arts at the University of Oregon, and a BA in English Literature from Reed College.
