Coming from a background in business development and marketing in a creative field, I was surprised by how succinct the entrepreneurial studies course was in delivering various perspectives and actionable steps for establishing and maintaining a creative professional practice. The issues and challenges unique to creatives are addressed by a rotating group of faculty who are experts in the fields of business planning, business development, marketing, legal issues, social entrepreneurship, and sustainability. The opportunity we’re given to have one-on-one discussions with them specific to our interests has been invaluable.
